Apple Intelligence on iPad Mini is now ready on the newest seventh generation. The first wave of Apple Intelligence features will not change the user experience for most. Apple is pushing hard to ensure that all its new devices can participate. That’s largely why the iPad mini was released at this point. It’s physically unchanged other than a few new colors, except under the hood.
Hardware Updates for iPad Mini
The iPad mini’s A17 Pro processor that makes it compatible with Apple Intelligence. Apple Pro pencil support is now available on the iPad as well as cell support from eSim only. The storage of iPad Mini now begins at 128 GB of storage at the base level. The mini is capable of 10 Gbps USB 3 networking, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The price still starts at $499, with cellular connectivity adding $150. The update is minor, but one that keeps the iPad mini up to date for those who prefer a more compact iPad design. We feel like this is a great update and you should consider updating if you are using anything 5th generation or older.
